About me

I was born in Athens, Greece where I studied German Language and Philology, with emphasis on Linguistics, Translation and Didactics, at the National University of Athens. During my studies, I had the opportunity to perform an internship at a publishing house, as a Translator Assistant.

After finishing my bachelor’s degree, I began working as a language teacher for German, English and Greek. In September 2012, I moved to Dortmund, Germany where I completed my master's degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Dortmund. My thesis was on the effect of crosslinguistic influence in second language acquisition, focusing on German-Greek bilingual children learning English as a Foreign Language.

I have been working as a translator since 2016. As a lifelong learner, I am always looking to enrich my knowledge and expertise.
